Rachel Albone-Bushnell is the Founder of Children's Academy, CT. Dr. Albone-Bushnell received three Master of Science degrees in School Psychology, Counseling, and Art Therapy from the College of New Rochelle. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Studio Art with a minor in Art Therapy from Fordham University. She also has an educational doctoral degree in executive leadership from Saint John Fisher College. 

Dr. Albone-Bushnell is a New York and Connecticut State certified school psychologist and has worked with children and young adults with autism and related disabilities for over 7 years. Mrs. Albone-Bushnell developed expertise in both Pivotal Response Treatment and Positive Behavioral Support methodologies. She also has specialized training in various other ABA approaches, including Discrete Trial Teaching (DTT),The Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS) and working towards enhancing parent-child relationships. She is also, a registered behavior technician.
